West Marine CEO Resigns
Peter Harris, president and CEO of West Marine for the last three years, resigned this month. He’s been replaced by longtime West Marine board member Geoff Eisenberg. Harris’s departure follows a couple of challenging years for the California-based company, which was forced to close a number of stores and saw profits drop sharply.
