Bristolian

Well-known yachtsman Michael Cannon commissioned Philippe Briand to design this 120-foot high-performance yacht, and specifically asked for some memorable aesthetics. Accordingly, Briand gave the design a long (109-foot) waterline and a moderate beam of just over 26 feet. The yacht has a lifting keel with a maximum draft of 17 feet and a minimum draft of just under 11 feet. Construction, in carbon composite, has begun at the New Zealand Yachting Development yard in Auckland; the yacht will be launched at the end of 2007.
