By installing a Nautic Alert Decision Platform onboard you will, in essence, have a tireless mate who constantly minds the bilge, manages the pumps intelligently, and lets you know what’s happening, whether you’re in the cockpit or ashore. The Nevada ultrasonic sensor/controller precisely measures bilge levels to 0.1in and tracks cycles and time periods as it runs a pump. It can also switch to a backup pump as needed, test both pumps weekly, and alert you to a variety of possible faults in either the pumps or their plumbing. Standalone performance is impressive enough. However, by wirelessly pairing one or more Nevada sensors with the touchscreen Insight monitor you get all that bilge intelligence in high-resolution graphics up at the nav station along with a loud alarm.
