Yacht Show Planned for D.C.
Featuring “only discriminating yachts of imposing size,” a new boat show will be held in Washington, D.C. in June.
“The Yacht Show at National Harbor” will take place June 5-8 at the new National Harbor marina on the eastern shore of the Potomac River. It’s organized by United States Yacht Shows, who already stage the United States Sailboat and Powerboat shows at Annapolis each October, and the Bay Bridge Boat Show in April.
The new show is resolutely upscale. Along with the in-water collection of “discriminating yachts,” there’ll be space onshore for “the most impeccable of yacht launches and tenders.” There will also be tents housing the usual collection of makers and vendors of systems, engines, and other ancillaries, not to mention a special section that will “highlight luxury items for discriminating ladies and gentlemen.”
