The Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image is now accepting submissions for its 12th annual contest. This international photo contest is dedicated to showcasing the best in professional sail racing photography. After a special edition in 2020, which allowed photographers to submit photos taken since the beginning of the century due to limited events that calendar year, the contest will resume its regular schedule, requiring all submissions to have been taken between October 7, 2020 and September 7, 2021.
Additionally, the Mirabaud Group has announced its partnership with the contest will continue for the next three years. “At a time when many events are being cancelled every day, we felt it was vital to maintain the contest this year,” says Nicolas Mirabaud, Managing Partner of the Mirabaud Group.
An international jury will be announced later this summer. It will shortlist the 80 best images, which will then be published on the event website for public voting on September 14. The 20 best images chosen by the international jury will be exhibited at the Yacht Racing Forum, and a third prize will be awarded by the delegates attending the event.
