Big Weather Gear has announced that they will be bringing Henri-Lloyd gear back to the U.S., starting with their flag-ship store in Newport. The full in-store range is scheduled to be available in the summer of 2026.
“Henri-Lloyd is one of the most iconic names in sailing, and bringing it back to Newport feels like the perfect homecoming,” said Jay Lasky, owner of Big Weather Gear. “Our customers have been asking for gear that blends true performance with timeless style, and Henri-Lloyd delivers exactly that—from the deck of a racing yacht to the docks of Thames Street.”
Founded in Manchester, England in 1963, Henri-Lloyd has long been known for high performance, top of the line gear with timeless styling (and the price tag to match). They intend to make both technical gear and onshore lifestyle pieces available in store after a lengthy hiatus from the American market.
