The six finalists for the Rolex Yachtsman and Yachtswoman of the Year have been announced by US Sailing, each representing exemplary performance in the sport during the 2025 season.
The six sailors are Alli Bell, Laura Grondin, Pearl Lattanzi, Justin Callahan, Taylor Canfield, and Paul Cayard.
“Being named a Rolex Yachtsman or Yachtswoman of the Year is one of the most meaningful honors in American sailing,” said Charlie Enright, CEO of US Sailing and 2023 Rolex Yachtsman of the Year. “This year’s finalists have delivered exceptional performances on the water and continue to set the standard for excellence, sportsmanship, and leadership. Their accomplishments inspire sailors at every level and reflect the strength of our sailing community.”
The winners will be voted on by a panel comprising past Rolex Award recipients and members of the sailing media. The award recipients will be announced at New York Yacht Club’s Champions Dinner on February 12 in New York City, co-hosted by New York Yacht Club and US Sailing. The Kevin Burnham Memorial Award and the Nathanael G. Herreshoff Trophy will also be presented at that time.
