Timeless Functional Elegance
Ever since John Harrison created the first practical seagoing chronometer in the mid-1700s, ships clocks have represented a brilliant fusion of technology and art. This tradition is alive and well at the venerable marine instruments company Weems & Plath, as is evident in its new Endurance II line of clocks, thermometers and barometers. Maintenance-free with an “ultra-hard coating” guaranteed not to tarnish or scratch, Endurance instruments are as beautiful as they are functional, and are sure to add a touch of salty class to any library or saloon. Available in either a brass or chrome finish, each instrument features a front-opening bezel that provides easy access for calibration or other adjustments that might be needed. They can be either wall (or bulkhead) mounted, or displayed in a black or mahogany-finish case. Three different sizes are available, with face diameters ranging from 3.25in to 5in. Weights range from 0.8lb to 2lb.
