Hydrocoat Eco is the latest iteration of Pettit Paint’s multi-season ablative antifouling line and combines a proprietary self-polishing, water-based ablative coating with the organic metal-free biocide Econea to inhibit slime and improve antifouling performance. Hydrocoat Eco is compatible over most other bottom paints and substrates, including aluminum. Available in white, blue, red, green and black, the paint is easy to clean up using soap and water, and has no heavy solvent smell, making it easier and more pleasant to apply.
