Outremer is bringing two new big cats to the market. The French luxury builder has announced a 57 and a 64-footer are both in the works, with the former launching in late 2026 and making its show debut in April of 2027, while the latter is expected to premiere in September of 2027.

Outremer 57
Designed for long range cruising, the 57 replaces the Outremer 55. The layout is optimized for the purpose, with more storage and versatile layouts to include space for office work, laundry, or other options. Designers have worked to keep the boat light so that even when packed with the supplies necessary for weeks at sea, the catamaran won’t sit too low in the water to perform well. Outremer also says it’s working towards more sustainable cruising on several fronts, including by improving the sailing performance at lower windspeeds, thereby reducing the time owners spend motoring.
Helm options on each side give owners the choice between steering from a raised platform or a more protected spot in the cockpit. Outboard, two benches will be the “best seat on the boat” according to one representative. Daggarboards and a sailplan derived from that of the 55 improve performance. All lines are led aft and hypothetically this boat could be sailed by two.

Outremer 64
The Outremer 64 will be the new largest model in this line and is designed to accommodate professional crew as well as an owner and guests. The crew cabin, placed aft of the owner’s cabin in the starboard hull has its own entrance and can be replaced with other layouts including office space if desired. The port hull also has flexible utility space, called “My Free Space” by Outremer, for semi custom interiors. Up to 12 different interior options are available.
The boat has svelte, aggressive lines thanks in part to its LOA, which creates the optical illusion of an incredibly lean boat while still boasting extensive storage inside. Carbon is used to keep weight down, including in the daggerboards and mast.
