This year marks half a century for New England’s largest boat show, and the celebration will be in person. In a statement released yesterday, Nancy Piffard, Show Director of Newport Exhibition Group said, “We are excited to kick off the boat show season in-person this year… We are confident that by mid-September, the majority of our population will be vaccinated, and we will be able to offer a safe and healthy environment for all. We will, of course, follow state and local guidelines—such as mandatory mask-wearing, contact-free ticketing and scheduled, staggered entry to enable effective social distancing.”
Also announced were the dates of the show, which will be held September 16-18, 1000 to 1800, and Sunday, September 19, 1000 to 1700. Tickets will be sold at a limited capacity and will go on sale in mid-June.
