Sherman Johnson Co.’s Inner Forestay Lever not only allows you to quickly tension a collapsible stay when it’s time to deploy a staysail, it’s compact enough to easily tuck away into a corner when not in use. Fabricated from T-316 stainless steel, the lever has a tensile strength of 14,500lb, measures 11in when closed and 14in when open. A curved and padded release/take-up handle makes it easier and safer to tension, while a sliding ring locks the lever in place when in use. It can be used with a wide variety of swaged ends, toggle jaws or other mechanical fittings for wire ranging from 1/4 to 3/8 inch.
