The Forespar Tri-Reacher is a three-piece telescoping whisker pole ideally suited for poling out gennakers and other headsails, allowing for deeper sailing angles. The aluminum pole measures 21ft long when fully deployed, but retracts to just 8ft for easy stowage. Suitable for boats with LOAs from around 35 to 42ft, it can be attached to a movable toggle car on a mast track or a proprietary Fixed Toggle mount bracket, also manufactured by Forespar. An affordable alternative to traditional car-and-track pole systems, the Tri-Reacher can be used for everything from offshore passagemaking to Wednesday night beer-can racing.
