Garmin quatix 3

Smart watches seem to be all the rage these days, monitoring how many steps you take (or don’t), allowing you to watch cat videos on the go, all kinds of useful things. But when it comes to marine smart- watches, most of them are actually pretty damn handy, and the Garmin quatix 3 is certainly one of those. The quatix 3 is essentially a physical extension of your onboard electronics, with the ability to stream NMEA 2000 data from all of compatible onboard Garmin marine electronics, allowing the wearer to see depth, water temperature, speed, GPS heading, wind direction and more, all on your wrist. And if that’s not enough, the watch lets you control a Garmin VIRB camera and change tunes on a Fusion stereo system. The screen is sunlight-readable and has a high-resolution color display. This is one smart watch that really is smart. $600. Garmin, garmin.com
