The Cup is finally here. The first races of the 2021 America’s Cup will begin at 10pm EST tonight. Last month’s hard-won victory by the Italians in the Prada Cup earned them a spot in the America’s Cup. Emirates Team New Zealand, on the other hand, has not raced their boat since the abandoned Christmas Race back in December. At the time, Emirates Team New Zealand looked like the favorite, but only time will tell whether the extra months of racing will give Luna Rossa an advantage.
