A HYBRID TOUCH
Si-TEX’s new NavStar series multifunction displays (MFDs) offer “hybrid touch” control—that is, the functions can be accessed via touchscreen or traditional controls. The 10in and 12in high-resolution displays are visible even in full daylight, and the powerful 1.9GHz quad core processor allows instant refreshing of chartplotter detail. Among the features are Bluetooth and wireless LAN connectivity, allowing automatic updating of the C-Map charts whenever the unit has an internet connection. The units have full radar and sonar capability and can be enabled for Skymate satellite communications.
