Over three weeks into the third leg of The Ocean Race, the four remaining boats are crossing Point Nemo, the point in the southern Pacific that’s farther away from land than any other point on the planet. Despite different boat designs, numerous breakages and repairs, and 24 days at sea, the fleet has reconverged to be astonishingly close, with all four being visible to each other at one point yesterday.
